O’Brien Associates, LLC has been retained by LSI SOLUTIONS® to conduct a search for the position of Executive Director of Operations.  This strategic and innovative leader would be committed to achieving and maintaining Class A Manufacturing objectives, working with the executive team to assist in providing corporate leadership in all areas.  This position reports to the VP & Chief Development Officer.  The successful candidate will assume the responsibility for managing production exceeding 50,000 units per year, supply chain and manufacturing operations, strategic business planning, product development, fabrication, supporting technologies and processes. This position will oversee 5 direct and 126 indirect reports.

 

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent with a Master of Science degree a plus, along with 10+ years’ experience. A background in Medical Device Manufacturing with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) experience is desirable.

FLACRA is a private non-profit organization with a current budget in excess of $20M.  Founded in 1973 FLACRA is a private non-profit agency serving individuals and their loved ones in the New York Finger Lakes Region whose lives are affected by substance use and other health-related disorders.

 

FLACRA employs over 400 full-time, part-time and per-diem staff comprised of program supervisors, credentialed substance abuse counselors, peer specialists, nurses, vocational and therapy aides and administrative staff - all dedicated to the individuals and families in recovery. The executive management team has decades of knowledge and experience and leads with strong commitment and dedication to the agency values.

 

FLACRA’s driving goal is to provide help for individuals and their loved ones in the Finger Lakes Region whose lives are affected by substance use and other health-related disorders. “At FLACRA, we believe Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorders are treatable diseases. O’Brien Associates, LLC has been retained by FLACRA to conduct a search for their next VP of Human Resources.  This strategic and empathetic leader will be committed to the social mission and will work in concert with the Executive Leadership in accordance with the organization’s mission, vision and values. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operations associated with Human Resources and Payroll. The VP of Human Resources provides assistance with and facilitates the human resource process at all nine business locations and implementing a recruiting campaign to attract and retain employees to ensure the highest quality care for the people we serve. The role administers employee health and welfare plans and acts as a liaison between employees and benefit providers.  This position resolves benefit-related problems and ensures effective utilization of plans and positive employee relations. The VP of Human Resources ensures that plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed. This role provides administrative support to all human resources functions. Some travel is required to various agency locations and community functions.

 

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related field with five years Human Resources, Payroll and Supervisory experience required. Master Degree in Human Resources/Management related field and non-profit experience strongly preferred.  S/PHR certification and experience in the health and human services field required.  Valid NYS Drivers’ License.
